Kristel Tjandra
Kristel Tjandra is a volunteer with the Intervarsity Graduate and Faculty Ministries. She grew up in Indonesia and went to college in Australia. She has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and was a postdoc at Stanford from 2020 to 2023. She currently lives with her husband in Hawai’i. Starting Fall 2023, she’ll be attending the University of California, Santa Cruz graduate program and be trained as a science journalist. Having been blessed by many years of fellowship and friendship with other Christians on campus, Kristel finds joy in building relationships and supporting graduate students, postdocs, and faculties. In her spare time, she likes to be outdoors. You’ll find her either hiking, playing tennis, swimming, cycling, or picking up new sports.
